How we do business will change, let’s be ready!
Social distancing. Shelter in place. Essential businesses.
It’s amazing how quickly brand new terms have become the norm. There are always changes in the business climate but few expected the magnitude of the changes over the past few weeks. Few of us were prepared.
Some new terms caught everyone by surprise. Businesses slowed down or ground to a halt – unless deemed ‘essential.’ The requirements to limit direct human interaction accelerated a trend towards remote workspaces, from ‘steady’ to ‘warp speed.’ A matter of survival.
The good news? We know the limitations on direct interaction will end. Much public dialog centers around the ‘whens’ and ‘hows’ of restarting the economy.
The better news? We have time to be better prepared. We have the opportunity to evaluate the changes thrust upon us, the damage they caused, and some of the solutions available to help us weather the storm.
The best news? We’re all in this together. We are still America, the greatest country in history. We still can rally together and take on any challenge with a fierce combination of community, determination, and faith.
Things may not be the same, but they can be better! Some businesses will move towards more permanent ‘remote workspace’ solutions. Some businesses will re-evaluate how their existing offices are utilized to provide for more space between employees. Meeting spaces may need to better incorporate video participation. The list is endless.
At B&H Office Solutions, we are declaring we are here to help. We want to help you as you plan for your new ‘normal.’ We want to share ideas, resources, and especially success stories. We want to reach deep into our community with an eye on those who have been hit the hardest, making sure we don’t leave anyone behind.
We will be intentional about cultivating relationships with anyone and everyone wanting to work together for our common good. We are determined to draw out the best of all of us in our interactions.
We hope you will join us.
Thank you. To all of you. The last few weeks have been challenging, but we continually see the best in you as we all work together.
Business will no longer be ‘as usual’ but the new ‘normal’ can be better than ever. Let’s make it happen, together.
